Trails by Lantern Light
Experience the beauty of park trails in winter.
Bundle up and take a walk through hundreds of lanterns lighting up the trails at night. Enjoy these lit trails for free during select dates.

About 4 p.m. to park close at 10 p.m.
Event information
For Thompson County Park, lanterns will be lit along a paved route through the park and greenway. Look for the "Lanterns this way" signs. This is a paved and plowed trail, but some areas could be slippery. Conditions may vary — traction on shoes recommended. Bonfire from 5-8 p.m.
For Lebanon Hills Regional Park, lanterns will be around the Schulze Lake loop. This is an unpaved, unplowed trail. Conditions may vary — traction on shoes recommend. Bonfire at the A-frame Shelter and Visitor Center fire rings from 5-8 p.m.
For Whitetail Woods Regional Park, lanterns will be lit around the Empire Lake Loop. Look for the “Lanterns this way" signs. This is a paved and plowed trail, but some areas could become slippery. Conditions may vary — traction on shoes recommended. Bonfire at the Empire Shelter fire ring from 5-8 p.m.
