The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and Burnsville Police are investigating the death of a woman found floating in Crystal Lake on Sunday morning. The woman has been identified as Jocelyn Renee Brengman, 24 years of age, from Bloomington.
According to
Dakota County Sheriff Dave Bellows, at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, fishermen discovered the victim in the water near the boat landing located on Crystal Lake Road on the northwest portion of the lake.
While foul play is not considered a factor at this time, the investigation continues into the circumstances leading up to the discovery of the victim in Crystal Lake. An autopsy will be performed by the Dakota County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday, August 1st.
