Additional Charges Filed Against Father Who Assaulted His Son at a Lakeville Basketball Game
| Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that his office has increased charges against Steven Ohara Wilson, age 52 of Eagan, in connection with an assault upon his son following a basketball game in which his 14-year-old son was a participant. The Lakeville City Attorney had previously charged Wilson with one count of misdemeanor domestic assault. The Dakota County Attorney has now added to that charge one count each of Malicious Punishment of a Child and Neglect of a Child (both gross misdemeanors). All of these charges will now be prosecuted by the County Attorney. See the attached news release for more information. |
