Mixed Martial Arts Fighter Charged in Violent Domestic Assault
| [June 30, 2011] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Brett Charles Rogers, age 30 of Apple Valley, has been charged* with Assault in the Third Degree; Domestic Assault by Strangulation; Pattern of Stalking Conduct (all felonies); and Endangerment of a Child (a gross misdemeanor) in connection with a violent attack upon his wife which occurred in the early morning hours of June 29, 2011 at his home in Apple Valley. The victim was choked, punched repeatedly in the head and face, and lost a tooth during the incident. Rogers is a mixed martial arts fighter. |
