Attorney Sentenced for Using Controlled Substance in Winona County Courthouse
| [September 20, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Charles Alan Ramsay, age 43 of New Brighton, was sentenced today in Winona County by Judge Jeffrey Thompson to two days in jail, probation for 10 years, 240 hours of Community Work Service and a fine of $2,500 in connection with an incident at the Winona County Courthouse on January 15, 2009. Backstrom said his Office is handling this matter on a conflict basis for the Winona County Attorney’s Office. |
