Additional Charges Filed Against Two Adults in Lakeville Shooting [Charges Filed Against Juvenile Amended and Guilty Plea Entered]
| [May 5, 1009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that two additional adults have been charged* in connection with the Lakeville shooting on March 29, 2009 that injured four individuals inside a mobile home. Ahmed Ali, who is either 19 or 20 years old (he has several aliases), and who is now believed to be the shooter in this incident, has been charged* with four felony counts of Assault in the Second Degree. Osman Omar Osman, age 20, has been charged* with Aiding an Offender (a felony). These two individuals escaped police the night of the shooting and were later located while they were in custody in other states. |
