Man Is Sentenced for Assault at Burnsville Basketball Game
[November 3, 2010]  Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Robin Johnson, age 49 of Minneapolis, was sentenced today to 72 months in prison by Judge Michael Mayer in connection with assaulting a director of the Burnsville Athletic Association’s basketball program and a parent at a youth basketball game in Burnsville last February. Johnson pled guilty in June to one count each of Assault in the First Degree and Assault in the Third Degree (both felonies), and one count each of Interfering with a 911 Call (a gross misdemeanor) and Disorderly Conduct (a misdemeanor). The Defendant was also ordered to pay restitution.
