Woman Sentenced in Baby Death Case
| [January 12, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Samantha Anne Heiges, age 23 of Coon Rapids, was sentenced today to 299 months in prison by Judge Karen Asphaug in connection with the killing of her newborn infant daughter on May 5, 2005. Heiges was convicted of Intentional Murder in the Second Degree by a Dakota County Jury on September 30, 2008. |
