Prior Lake Police Officer Pleads Guilty and is Sentenced
| [March 2, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Michael Alan Ficken, age 34 of Prior Lake, pleaded guilty today in Scott County District Court to one count each of Disorderly Conduct and Damage to Property (both misdemeanors) in connection with an incident at his former girlfriend’s home on June 10, 2009 in Prior Lake. Ficken was sentenced by Judge Richard Perkins to 30 days in jail, 30 days of electronic home monitoring and one year of probation on the Disorderly Conduct charge (he could only be sentenced on one count as these crimes were part of the same behavioral incident). Ficken was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $430.49, and to complete a psychological evaluation. |
