Former Minneapolis Police Officer Sentenced for Numerous Robberies in Dakota County
| [January 13, 2011] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Timothy Edward Carson, age 29 and formerly of Rosemount, was sentenced today to 122 months in prison by Judge Thomas Poch, in connection with a series of robberies in the cities of Apple Valley, Eagan and Rosemount from December 16, 2009 through January 5, 2010. Carson pled guilty last October to five counts of First Degree Aggravated Robbery and two counts of First Degree Attempted Aggravated Robbery. |
