Arson Charges Filed In South Saint Paul Case
Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Susan Mercurio, age 63 of South Saint Paul, has been charged* with one count of Arson in the First Degree (a felony) in connection with a fire started at a South Saint Paul apartment building on May 12, 2010. *Criminal charges are not evidence of guilt. A defendant/suspect is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
