On the internet, go to U.S. Code. You can browse or search by keyword or citation. NOTE: this version is only current through January 2, 2006.
A current print version of the U.S. Code Annotated is available at the Hastings branch of the Law Library.
The U.S. Code Annotated is available online via Westlaw, which you can access at both law library branches.
The U.S. Code Service is available online via Lexis, which you can access at both law library branches.

Q. Where can I find rules that govern the federal courts in Minnesota?

The Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure and the 8th Circuit local rules are available at the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals website

8th Circuit Court of Appeals cases are available on the web back to 1995.
U.S. Supreme Court cases are available on the Court's website for the last 3 terms. Older decisions (1893-) can be found at Findlaw.

Q. Where can I find federal agency regulations?
A. The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is available on the web via GPO Access.
