The Plat Search provides access to information about Dakota County recorded survey documents also known as plats. There are three different kinds of plats. A Subdivision plat is a map of a subdivision of land into lots and blocks, and may dedicate lands for public use. CIC plats are common interest community plats for use by condominiums, planned communities and co-ops. A RLS or Registered Land Survey is a survey performed for the identification of registered (Torrens) lands.
