Work on the 2009 Crack Sealing contract is complete. Thank you for your patience and your help in making this a safe construction season.
This year, Dakota County will crack seal approximately 45 miles of roadway. This work includes cleaning out cracks in the pavement and filling them with sealant. Crack sealing is done to extend the life of the pavement. Work on this project is scheduled to begin in mid July and will take approximately two months to complete.
The 2009 Crack Sealing contract includes work on the following roads:
- County Road 9 from the Scott County Line to County Road 74A in Eureka Township
- County Road 26 from TH 3 to Cahill Avenue in Inver Grove Heights
- County Road 30 from Interstate 35E to Heine Strasse Road in Eagan
- County Road 31 from South of County Road 78 to County Road 50 in Farmington
- County Road 32 from County Road 31 to TH 3 in Eagan
- County Road 42 from 145th Street to TH 52 in Rosemount
- County Road 42 from TH 55 to Idell Avenue in Nininger Township
- County Road 42 from County Road 87 to TH 61 in Hastings
- County Road 62 from County Road 85 to TH 316 in Vermillion and Marshan Township
- County Road 80 from County Road 9 to County Road 23 in Eureka Township
- County Road 81 from TH 50 to County Road 46 in Empire and Vermillion Township
- County Road 86 from TH 3 to County Road 47 in Castle Rock, Waterford, and Sciota Township
- County Road 89 from County Road 62 to County Road 47 in Marshan Township
- County Road 91 from TH 61 to 210th Street in Marshan and Douglas Township
