Crop Planting in County Right of Way Policy
Plowing, tilling and other operations within County right of way is unlawful, according to Minnesota State Statute 160.2715.

The County reserves the right to ask for the removal of crops planted in the right of way, or the County may remove them at the owner’s expense.

Civil liability may also be extended to those who plowed or tilled the right of way illegally.
