2010 Community Indicators Report
The measures in the Community Indicators Report illustrate the current environment in which government operates and in which Dakota County residents live and work, noting the conditions that remain largely unchanged over time, as well as emerging issues and trends.
This report helps County government meet residents’ expectations as well as anticipate and adjust plans, budgets, services, and reporting systems to assure Dakota County government functions at optimum effectiveness and efficiency.
There are many additional potential measures, but this report represents areas for which data is available, relevant, and accurate at the county level.
