The Office of GIS in Dakota County has two main missions. One is to maintain the parcel and physical feature information that is used by the public and by other government bodies and to make it easy to access and use. The other is to assist other County departments by creating maps, performing geographic analyses, and providing general assistance for all of their mapping needs.
