And then there was one
 Three possible plans for the new Dakota County regional park in Empire Township will soon be narrowed to one. The public is invited to an open house on Monday, April 18 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. to view, ask questions and comment on the proposed park plans.
Each of the plans includes a variety of recreation opportunities like picnicking, cabin camping, canoeing and kayaking, education facilities, disc golf, an off-leash dog area, and biking and cross-country ski trails. Two of the plans include community gardens and other food production areas including areas with fruit trees and vine and bush crops.
The open house will be held at the Farmington Library, 508 Third St. in Farmington.
