Help plan a park
 Dakota County is adding even more places for recreation, education and celebration in the wild. Help plan the new 460-acre park in Empire by taking a quick survey.
Planning is now underway to decide the vision for the park, including natural resource management, recreation, services, and facilities. The park is already positioned to be unique as part of a 4,000-acre natural area complex. Dakota County is working with the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources on innovative, connected opportunities for recreation on the adjacent Vermillion Highlands.
