Maintain your brain
Staying fit involves more than keeping your body in shape. There are things you can do to help keep your brain healthy too. Find out more at Maintain Your Brain workshops at the library.
You’ll learn how your brain works and changes with age, how your heart and brain are connected, and how social activity and emotional health affect your brain.
Three workshops in April are scheduled:
- Wednesday, April 6, 2–3:30 p.m.; Pleasant Hill Library, 1490 S. Frontage Road, Hastings; 651-438-0200
- Thursday, April 7, 10:30 a.m.–noon; Wentworth Library, 199 E. Wentworth Ave., West St. Paul; 651-554-6800
- Thursday, April 14, 10:30 a.m.–noon; Farmington Library, 508 Third Street, Farmington; 651-438-0250
These free programs are presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and sponsored by MELSA (Metropolitan Library Service Agency) and IMLS (Institute for Museum and Library Services). For more information, visit the Dakota County Library website or call 651-450-2943.
