Business as usual
 It’s business as usual for the majority of motor vehicle and driver’s license transactions at the Dakota County license centers.
Folks can purchase tabs for their vehicles, transfer a title and renew their driver’s license by visiting one of the County’s three license centers during normal business hours. Driver’s license tests cannot be administered nor can driver’s license re-instatements be processed at these locations.
Birth and death certificates, marriage applications, marriage certificates will continue to be available at the Western Service Center, Northern Service Center and Administration Center. Passport applications will continue to be accepted at Western and Northern Service Centers, Hastings Administration Center and Burnsville and Lakeville License Centers.
