Changes are coming
 Beginning May 1, the Robert Trail License Center in Rosemount will no longer accept passport applications due to changes being made by the U.S. State Department.
The new federal regulations are designed to prevent passport fraud.
The Robert Trail License Center in Rosemount will continue to issue birth and death certifications. Passport applications can be processed at any of the other license center locations: Apple Valley, Burnsville, Hastings, Lakeville and West St. Paul.
Birth and death certificates are still available at all license center locations, but only during the hours of 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
