A season of giving
The Dakota County Library was there for Rita Linde when she needed it most. She showed her appreciation with a $500 gift.
Linde worked in Iraq for four years before losing her job. Coming back to the states, she couldn’t afford a year-long contract for Internet service. Instead, she spent many hours at the Farmington Library, using the time to help in her job search.
The gift is a “thank you” to the Library for helping her through a very difficult time.
“I hope every single person who's unemployed really appreciates the value libraries provide now and has the opportunity to give back something to help make sure libraries have the funding they need,” said Linde. |
