Household hazardous waste collection events are coming this spring.Dakota County residents can drop off household hazardous waste at one of two household hazardous waste collection events this spring.

The County partners with cities throughout Dakota County to make it more convenient for residents to drop off household chemicals and other hazardous items. Items accepted for no cost include paint, household cleaners, driveway sealers, lawn and garden chemicals, fluorescent bulbs and automotive fuels and other types of household chemicals. No business, farm or yard waste will be accepted.

Hastings Collection
April 30, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Hastings Maintenance Facility (Cal Ruedy Building)

The Recycling Zone in Eagan also accepts household hazardous waste and other items four days a week, year round.
