vacancies to decide which committee best matches your interests.
You may apply at any time. While most citizen appointments are made in January, mid-year vacancies occasionally require appointments at other times of the year. Your application will be kept on file for one year.
To apply:
- Complete an Open Appointments Application Form.
- Sign the application.

One final note:
As you review the committee information and consider your availability for this service, please be aware of the following attendance policy for most appointees to citizen advisory committees: "Automatic removal of an appointee...occurs when an appointee is absent for three consecutive meetings, or 50% of the meetings, during any consecutive 12-month period."
